The word ‘Nazar’ derives from Arabic, meaning ‘Sight’. Nazar is more commonly known as the Evil Eye, a symbol that is over 5000 years old. It can be found in all major religions and throughout countless cultures around the world, particularly in the Mediterranean and Middle East. It is believed that the eye protects its wearer from negativity, jealousy, and the ill-will of others by peering back at them.
The Nazar ring is a light weight, adjustable wrap-around ring made with evil eye enamel work and tarnish resistant stainless steel.
