Mallipoo

Mallipoo, the Tamil word for Indian Jasmine, a delicate white and cream flower that is considered a sacred flower in India, symbolising purity and the divine, and is admired for its potent and alluring fragrance. In South India, Mallipoo is part of every South Indians daily live, as these beautiful buds grow abundantly and are sold at every street corner in the form of garlands that are used during daily poojas, or as Gajra’s to adorn women’s hair or wrists as a symbol of good fortune.

Each flower in this bracelet is handmade using a wire wrapping technique that transforms simple glass seed beads into these fine flowers that represent Indian Jasmine blooms during the spring.
